Retro rally raid looks are all the rage in the adventure bike scene these days, but what if you’re stuck with a Yamaha Tenere 700? No worries—thanks to the aftermarket, you can now update the bodywork to look like the latest European ADV machines, which actually now come with authentic ’80s styling.

In general, neo-retro moto styling has been gaining a lot of popularity in recent years, but except for the Moto Guzzi V85TT, it hadn’t really hit the adventure bike scene. That changed at this year’s EICMA show. At the start of the week, we got theMV Agusta Lucky Explorer line, which looks straight from the days of Cagiva’s desert racers (but without cigarette logos). A few days later, Ducati followed up with the online launch of theDesertX. Looks like Egle’s friends at theSWANK Sardinia Rallyhave spoken: They want bikes that recall the glory days of rally raid.

But, the Japanese aren’t on board with this trend yet, so if you want a stylin’ adventure bike from the Big Four, you’ve got to make it yourself. That’s whereCrispy Clubcomes in, with its body kit for the Yamaha Tenere 700. This is definitely more retro than neo.

At Crispy Club’s websitehere, you can see three options. An unpainted body kit costs 2,400 euros; a painted version is 2,900 euros, and a full retro paint job is 3,900 euros (this price includes assembly, and is limited-edition—more detailshere). All kits include two front tank scoops, a front number plate with integrated LED light, a speedometer offset, and high front fender kit. And, all kits are made in Paris, France.

毫无疑问,它们是昂贵的。然而,如果佤邦nt to give your T7 a one-of-a-kind look, you can do it with the Crispy Club parts … or maybe wait around for Deus Ex Machina to makeits own T7 body kitavailable.
