The Indian FTR1200 comes from the factory with a street tracker look—but, it’s still a road-focused bike, not a custom machine or an ex-race bike, like the original street trackers were. But, if you want to give it more of a custom bike look, or you want to improve its performance, Roland Sands Design (RSD) can help.

Indian Motorcycles just announced a new line of bolt-on bling and performance parts, designed by RSD. RSD’s been working with Indian on various projects for years now, and this time, the custom shop has brought out parts that will give your bike the look, and some of the performance, of aSuper Hooligan racer. It’s a logical step, since RSD sponsors the Super Hooligan series, and Roland Sands himself races in it (he’s also a former AMA 250 GP champ, so he knows a lot about going fast).

There are no engine or suspension performance parts in RSD’s new lineup of FTR bits, but the new wheels should improve manoeuvrability. There’s also a set of new aluminum footpegs, aimed at improving grip and handling. RSD also introduced a set of frame sliders and handguards, just in case things go wrong. The sliders and handguards will prevent damage to more expensive parts, in theory. The new RSD swingarm stand spools will help you get the bike’s rear end in the air for servicing and repair.

RSD also introduced forged aluminum brake and shift levers, and billet aluminum engine cover and brake reservoir cover. These likely won’t make you faster, but if you accidentally destroy the originals in a flat track incident, you can at least buy pretty replacements.
