In 2012 I was injured at work. I spent over 100 days in the hospital and was told numerous times I would never walk or ride a motorcycle again. I set a goal of doing all the trips I ever wanted to and prove the medical world wrong. In 2017 my wife and I flew to Italy and rented a 2016 BMW R1200GS, we have a GSA stateside, and rode Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Liechtenstein in a dream trip of mine. We hit all of the major passes like Grimsel, Splugen, Furka, Stelvio and list goes on. It was an amazing time and we can’t wait to go back! This photograph was taken at a spot where we had a roadside picnic and just enjoyed the view and moment.

这s picture was taken at the Sanitam Pass OHV Area, near Big Lake in the High Cascades of Oregon. Most of these guys have bigger ADV bikes, but use this ride more to polish thier dirt skills due to the cold weather. There will also be a video of this event along with other ADV Rider events on my YouTube channel.

British Columbia is a fantastic location for adventure riding and the KTM 790 makes an ideal all-round partner for exploring. This shit was taken on a solo outing near the famous Stave Lake dam. The changing water levels gives different riding opportunities throughout the year, including getting right out in the shallows.
