Why Husqvarna, why?

Husqvarna Motorcycles are pleased to announce the release of the 2020 701 Enduro LR, the new long range enduro machine for riders wanting to travel further. Offering additional touring capabilities thanks to its increased fuel capacity of 25 litres, the 701 Enduro LR features the same advanced electronics as the highly popular 701 Enduro.

The release is for Europe, South Africa, and Australia, for now. The price tag in the Uk is in the high £10k range/ $14k +/-

The difference in this bike over previous models is a lightweight, integrated fuel tank where a standard tank would be, upfront, giving an additional 12-liter capacity, and a 500 km +/- range

The factory describes it like this –

With its fully integrated 25-litre fuel tanks, it is the perfect machine for extended, adrenaline-filled onroad or offroad adventures, allowing up to 500 km distances between fuel stops.

Is this the bike a lot of riders have been asking for, or is it just a 701 with a bigger tank? Wind protection is still the same with a small headlight mask, but of course, companies like MotoMinded can get you set up at whatever level you need, be it for touring or more rally-inspired.

Sadly for Americans, it means a plane journey to see this and try it out for size, or maybe plan a Euro trip and put it to the test on the Trans Euro Trail

The 2020 701 Enduro LR is available at all authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles Dealers from March onwards. Availabilities may differ from country to country.
