Russia’s President Putin is reportedly revamping the government’s vehicle fleet using Russian built designs. Some of those vehicles are in production under theAurusbrand. Already in service are the Arsenal Van and the Senat limousine. Soon to come is the Aurus Komendant, which looks like the Senat but is highly armored.

And now, the latest machine to come to motorcade duties may be a new, unnamed electric motorcycle. The “discovery” comes as the result of a Russian patent filing.

According toMotoStation, the patent does not disclose much about the new bike. But it does state that the motorcycle is electrically powered, will generate 150 hp and have a top speed of 155 mph (250 kph).

According toRussian media Drom, the bike’s development is a project between FSUE NAMI and Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov is part of the Rostec state corporation.

Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov said that the new bike would go on sale in 2022 – 2023. Interestingly, the electric machine may also come to the consumer market under the IZH brand.
