The Rev Sisters are back with another moto film festival in 2022, offering a change-up from the past three years. This time, the plan is to roll all three of their events into one, and they will run it solely online.

Three become one

When the Rev Sisters originally started their plan for motorcycle film festivals, the idea was to run three separate events: One inCalifornia, one inSouth Dakotaand one inNew Jersey。Originally, those festivals were all planned to be in-person, but COVID-19 forced them to shift the festivals online. And if everything’s online, who cares where the festival is based out of? That’s why there’s only a single festival now, for 2022, says organizer Michelle Lamphere via email:

We are shifting to one online event per year and working behind the scenes to expand the event with some great new added content. Our original business plan included a focus on a variety of live events (film festivals were only one component). We put all our live events on the back burner during Covid and pushed to expand the film festivals in 2020 and 2021. At that time live events weren’t possible and we found the online events were a great escape for the moto community. And thankfully, our online festivals have been really well received. So we plan to continue hosting one online event each year.

However, the Rev Sisters organization (including other well-known insiders Liza Miller and Shana Sanderson) does plan to do other in-person events, says Lamphere. No doubt we’ll see some details announced down the road, but COVID measures are still a possibility and it would make little sense to make any big plans too far out right now.
