Well, it’s back for 2023—the BRABUS 1300 R, that is. The KTM-powered muscle bike, built in conjunction with the German tuning company, and sold to those with well-padded wallets.

Ah well, the rest of us, the skint and the restless, can enjoy photos at least, and speculating how much fun we might have aboard this particular platform.

Like before, the important parts (WP Apex suspension/steering damper, 1301 cc engine, frame) are borrowed from the KTM 1290 Super Duke EVO, which is itself perhaps the foremost supernaked on the market today. That’s not enough for the madlads at BRABUS, who have added a bunch of carbon-fiber bodywork (bellypan, headlight cover, air scoops). But wait, there’s more! BRABUSalsothrew a bunch of CNC-machined parts at the bike, including triple clamps, levers, footpegs, and other bits.

不要忘记添加一个新的double-barrel slip-on exhaust, forged wheels, a trick stitched seat (including a heating element), bar-end mirrors and a TFT screen with its own BRABUS-themed interface.

The 2023 bike is basically the same machine as last year’s model, with only slight adjustments, including a blacked-out finish on the exhaust. The V-twin is still rated for 180 hp and 103 lb-ft of torque. And once again, the bike is going to be released in limited numbers with a high price tag.

For this year, BRABUS will sell 145 examples of the bike in Stealth Gray, and another 145 machines in Superblack. The bike will cost about $45,575 US (converting the 42,500 euro price tag), and that includes a downpayment of about $2,700 US. If you have ~$50k laying around, looking for an owner, you can pre-order the bikehere, when pre-payment opens at 9 AM EST on February 16.
