It was a very brief press release. In fact, the entire document contained only a mere 536 characters. It reads verbatim:

The SMT tease is on
KTM此次将为’s teaser pageofficially acknowledges the SMT is back. It describes the bike as an “exciting Supermoto sport tourer that extracts its DNA from a revered KTM platform.” Unfortunately, we will have to wait until April 24th to get a look at the full production version. However, there have been“spy shots” of a bike claimed to be the new 890 SMT. How closely they will represent the new production SMT is not clear.

That said, one publication says the new 890 SMT will borrow heavily from KTM’s existing 890 Adventure and 890 Duke. Particularly, they say the frame, engine, exhaust, and most of the bodywork are straight from the latest-generation 890 Adventure. But they also suggest that the bike’s street-focussed WP suspension, front brakes, and cast-alloy, 17-inch wheels will likely come from the 890 Duke.
