After a couple of years of waiting, Honda has finally confirmed the CT125 Trail for the Canadian market, along with the XR150L dual sport.

Wot, no CT125?

While the newest take on Honda’s Trail formula has been available in the US for a while, and in Southeast Asia for even longer, Canadian customers weren’t able to buy the machine—until now. We don’t have a hard arrival date—we only know it’s coming “this spring.” Well, it’s not like most of Canada was riding until then anyway…

The Canadian version of the CT125 Trail will have ABS for the front wheel as standard equipment, the press release says. Otherwise, it is the exact same bike that the rest of the world is getting, with air-cooled 125 engine with four-speed transmission and auto clutch. Skid plate, luggage rack and knobby tires come standard of course.

Asking price is a very cool $5,649 CAD, which is based off a $4,971 MSRP and $678 in freight and PDI. Of course the taxman andmaybeyour local dealer will add something to that bottom line. Not a bad price, though, for a bike that can take you anywhere—just ask rtwPaul!

And the XR150L, too…

The X150L has been sold in overseas markets for years now, but never in the US or Canada until now. Earlier this winter, the crew at Motorcycle.com uncovered paperwork showing the machine iscoming to the USfor 2023, and now we also know it’s coming to Canada!

This is a very basic dual sport, with carbureted, air-cooled 144cc SOHC engine and 19-inch front, 17-inch rear wheel. And it’s a well-known machine; note that there’san ADVrider thread on this bikethat goes all the way back to 2014! And here in 2023, Canadians will pay $4,599 ($3,921 MSRP and $678 PDI/freight) for this bike. Very, very affordable!
