Pol Tarres, Yamaha’s tame motorcycle racer, is back with more of the mad bike-control antics that made him so famous in his latest short film, The Seeker 3. The YouTube description tells us:

The Trece Racing Society presents The Seeker 3 – a desert story inspired by the glowing beauty of al-Maghrib, told by Pol Tarres’ otherworldly riding and immortalized by the Echevarria brothers’ film art.

“Ultimately, the seeker wants to know himself, meet people from other cultures, reflect upon the real meaning of life.” – Pol Tarrés

Basically, it’s 20 minutes of Pol Tarres showing us what you can do with a Yamaha Tenere 700 if you really, really know what you’re doing. Perhaps you’d be unrealistic to expect some sort of Heminwayesque storytelling here, but at least you do see gorgeous shots of the scenery, the people, the place.

Morocco is a place that Tarres knows well, having challenged its terrain in races, and also explored while on his own clock, as seen here. His love of the country is evident, and this film is dedicated to the country and its peoples as they recover from a deadly earthquake that devastated much of the country in early September of 2023, killing more than 2,000.

我们想知道,在本系列的下一个什么?将焦油continue to bash about the desert, or might we see The Seeker series head off to the Rockies? The jungle? You can watch his past couple of entries in this series below, if you’re looking to kill a bit more of your Saturday morning…
