Olympia Dakar 3 jacket (29% off)

For years, Olympia has had a reputation for building quality moto gear that’s functional and affordable. Now we see the Dakar 3 jacket discounted even further,in the $280-$300 range at Revzilla. With waterproof and thermal liners, you can adapt this jacket to cold or wet conditions, or ditch the liners and undo the large ventilation panels on the hot days of summer. Unlike many jackets on the market today, the Dakar 3 ships with CE Level 2 armor for the back (a lot of jacket makers expect you to add your own). It also has CE Level 2 armor in shoulders and elbows, and a shell of mixed 500D and 1000D Cordura fabric.

Schuberth E1冒新利18苹果险头盔(35%)

Flip-front convenience in a high-quality ADV lid. Usually, these high-end helmets from Germany are quite pricey, but Revzilla has knocked the price down to略低于four hundred bucks. If a Schuberth fits your head, many riders find they’re the most comfortable helmet on the market—but the fit can be tricky, for sure. But if it doesn’t work for you, well, that’s what the return policy is for… and Schuberth has moved to a more universal fit in recent years. Note that this helmet does come with such niceties as the Anti-Roll Off system and a micro-click closure buckle, but no comm set. The SRC system is a plug-and-play installation, though, if you want to pay extra for that.

Sea to Summit stuff sacks (up to 36% off)

Water-resistant, and a big help when packing your luggage, getting things into a nice, tidy bundle. Cabela’s is selling thesein the $12 range on sale; good value for well-made kit that won’t fall apart the first time you use it. Made of 70D nylon.

Ledlenser MH10 rechargeable headlamp (save $10)

Something every camper needs—a good headlamp. Also useful for, heavens forbid, late-night motorcycle repairs in the woods. Yuck. This particular unit has lots of output (600 lumens, with an “Advanced Focus System,” whatever that means) and a charge is supposed to last 120 hours of use. Now THAT is something you appreciate in a pinch—but note that it takes six hours to recharge the battery, so don’t get caught out because you forgot to charge before you left the house. Perhaps you can top if off from a USB charger on the bike? Anyway,it’s about $90 at Cabela’s.

Stockton Roadside tool kit (38% off)

Speaking of motorcycle repairs—if you’re like me, and you bought a second-hand bike where the previous owner lost the stock tool kit (which was probably crap anyway), then for $49.99, you canget to Revzilla and buy a replacement. Looking at it, it appears you get all the basics, and even some stuff you can probably junk to make your toolkit lighter. Note that the kit comes in SAE or Metric sizes.

Stockton Grime Minister Chain Brush (23% off)

An un-exciting tool for an un-exciting job: Cleaning your bike’s chain. But it has to be done, to avoid premature wear, even on those fancy-pants BMW “no maintenance” chains. For ten dollars, you get a brush that will make this job less dirty, which means maybe you’ll be less reluctant next time it’s due?
