According to Kawasaki, the ABS hydraulic unit (ABS unit) may have been contaminated with debris during the manufacturing process. The debris could potentially result in the front or rear wheel locking up when braking during riding.

Kawasaki says owners have been notified and should take the affected machines to a Kawasaki dealer. The dealer will inspect the ABS unit and replace it if necessary. All work is to be performed free of charge.
