你好,欢迎来到ADVrider凌晨的照片新利18苹果k. We begin with a shot bhy@Ottistic, who rode his 2022 Yamaha Tenere 700 to the top of Mt. Washington en route to the Touratech Dirt Daze rally via the NEBDR a few days ago.

Taken at top of Mt. Washington above the clouds and slightly below some of those clouds on the way down.

Hello from Colorado

And here is@Alpina, who had his 2021 Suzuki DR650 out on Virginia Canyon Road in Colorado a few deays ago.

What a week!

In a “very exciting week,”@exploredd“went from riding in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains with my DR to flying to Bogota and beginning my South American Adventure with my trusty RE Himalayan.” Pictured below are the 2007 Suzuki DR650SE and 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan.

Since 2021 I have been slowly riding South through Mexico & Central America. Sometimes between stages I return back to the US to take a break for a few months.

I was at the Mosko Moto Dusty Lizard meetup in Ridgeway Colorado, which presented a great opportunity to try some of the high passes including Ophir Pass and Engineer Pass. A great last summer ride stateside before I start riding Colombia and beyond!

California rally

Here is the 2023 Honda CT125 Trail “with less thzn 200 miles on it,” with@m0t0-ryderin the ADVRally in Cedarville, California, held in August 2023. “Six riders from 700cc to my 125cc do a 150 mile desert loop to and thru high Rock Canyon near Black Rock Desert. It was epic. That little CT125 Hunter Cub can take a beating and keep rolling! Hot, dry (except for the deep water crossings in High Rocks), rocky and sandy with some fesh-fesh thrown in for giggles. Did I mention Rocks.”The story is on ADVrider’s forum.

This is not the end

@Peter640 tells us the “I’ve Always Wanted to Go To Albania” ride will continue after the 2014 BMW R1200 GS (“Bison”) was serviced and Julie (“AKA Tailer Gunner) has flown home. “Here are some shots from our last days together (and a sneak preview of her replacement! Very fishy!). Some squeezy little lanes in the Welsh border country. Making Wales country 24 so far on this trip.”

As Winston Churchill said on November 10, 1942: “Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.” Heading north to Nordkapp in two days’ time and travelling solo. Happy to deviate my way thru Scandinavia for those with a beer or a bed! Feel free to reach out!

On the lookout

@RBMannsays he and @Beekeeper “started in Canada then worked our way south looking for waterfalls” in 2019 with their KTM 690 and Honda Africa Twin.

Seems the bikes never made it into any of the waterfall photos but here are some on the road shots. The first photo is a nice little forest road some bicyclists shared with us that goes from Libby to Whitefish, MT. The second photo is Green River Lake north of Pineville, WY where we planned to camp until we saw a big storm coming.

The third photo was taken at the top of the Burr Trail Switchback on a small road to the Waterpocket Fold Viewpoint. The fourth photo is the bridge at the top of Hells Backbone in Utah.

Those were the days

Here is a shot from Honda’s Kumamoto factory, submitted by@The Bear. This is Octobger 1982 and the photo “shows the Australian and NZ media contingents for the CX500 Turbo launch along with our ‘keepers’ from the NSW Honda importers, and a Japanese contingent from the factory and head office.”

Going where?

And finally, here is a shot on the fabulous Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park in Montana a few weeks ago.@MagnaMunguswas on his KTM 790 Adventure R, and his buddy was on his 1994 Harley-Davidson FXRP. “I told him to pass me so I could take a photo, he stood up and spread his arms just at the right time and I got this great shot.”

And that’s it for Photos of the Week, but we’ll be back next week. Ride with adventure and please send photos! See you next week!
