The Honda XR150L is coming to the US and Canadian markets, but what can we expect? Lucky us—YouTuber RichRides is here to tell us what this dual sport is all about, in the video above!

The XR150L was confirmed for Canada in mid-February, and in early March, Honda also confirmed it would arrive in the US in 2023 (not that we didn’t know that already—工作sions documents tipped the bike’s arrivalback in January!). But even though it’s new to us, it isn’t new to the world market—it’s been sold around China, Asia and South/Central America for several years.

That’s where we get the review above, in English, which is rare, because most markets where this is sold are not English-speaking. It is sold in New Zealand as an agricultural bike, and in Belize, but most countries where it’s sold speak other languages.

Here in North America, we get the made-in-Mexico version; with a $2,971 MSRP in the US and $4,599 MSRP in Canada ($3,921 MSRP and $678 PDI/freight), pricing is actually pretty close to the MXN 50,920 price tag in Mexico. That’s low pricing, but you’re getting pretty a basic package here, with air-cooled SOHC 149cc counterbalanced single-cylinder engine, with five-speed gearbox, and non-adjustable, non-linkage shock and a telescopic fork that’s also non-adjustable.

Other perspectives

If you want a second opinion after watching the video above, here’s another view, also in English:

And here’s a third!

And of course you should also take a peekhere, if you’re curious about ADVrider inmates’ own opinions of this machine, since we’ve had a thread about the bike ever since 2013.
