Corbin, one of the best-known manufacturers in the aftermarket motorcycle seat business, is working on a new tool that allows motorcyclists to get the look they want dialed-in via their website. The visual seat configurator has been part of Corbin’s service for almost a decade now, but Corbin says it’s better than ever, and initially launched to service dual sport-riding customers:

Our Third-Generation visual seat configurator has been in development for nearly two years, and we’re finally rolling it out this week. This new custom seat creator uses 3D modeling so you can visualize your new seat from any angle and zoom in to get a better feel for the materials you’re choosing for your seat. Material texture and color are enhanced for a more accurate rendering also.

At this time, we are launching this new tool for our Canyon Dual Sport seat models across our website

Unfortunately, not every seat can use the new configurator tool at this time. But if you are buying one of the seats that does, you’ll see a graphic in the corner of the product page’s Order tab. Click on that, and you can enter 3D configuration mode. Corbin says that over the coming months, it will be introducing the 3D configuration to more and more bikes, starting with the Dual Touring lineup next, and then the Gunfighter and Wall Seat models.

While plenty of people are happy with stock saddles and plenty more are happy with aftermarket saddles that don’t have any particularly custom look, others will be happy to have unique visuals. For a closer look at how the configurator works, clickhere.
