Rumbux crash bars are an integrated 3-Part kit. The upper crash bars are bolted to the bike and to the lower bash frame making the whole cage stronger than any one part or mounting point. They have proven themselves to take major abuse and allow the bike to survive, or at worst, sustain much less damage than w/o them. I do offer the 2-Part kit as well, which is just the lower bash frame and integrated 4.5mm skid plate that bolts to the bash frame, not to the bike. 6 bolts to easily take off for oil changes.

Do they make any for the 2013 F800GS? I went on their site and shows to 2012 only.

The mounting points remain the same, but the upper bodywork required a new design for upper crash bars.

Edit - The upper bodywork changes in '13 meant Rumbux needed to make new upper bars to go with the kits, so now there is a kit for '07-12 and '13-up.

Maybe the thread is so quiet because a Google turns up very little info or feedback on these crash bars in the US. They look awesome and I would love to get a set but $800 is a lot of coin for an unknown. If you can point me in the direction of some reviews and/or more information i would love to see it.

Left you a post on the 1190 thread. Got a 2015 1190R coming from our local dealer. Just moved to Ivins from CO Will be my first adventure bike. Want a set a rear crash bars and will figure out what I am doing up front once I get the bike. Looks like you have an order going soon?

There have been some changes with Rumbux in nomenclature and for crash bar bags, materials and trim. The Reflective gray trim for soft products is no longer available, aside from what I show in stock. The heavy Cordura™ nylon has been discontinued and the new soft products are made of a heavy rip stop canvas in charcoal color. I have some on order and will post pictures when I receive them. Ii have been told that the quality is a step up from the previous products, which was quite good, so fully expect the new soft products to be very nice.

Rear bars are now "Endurance Rear Protection Bars" but still the same products that accept most brands of soft panniers and Mosko Moto products. Below is a listing of all the hard products and bar bags. Zero indicates no stock on hand. I will change these as stock becomes available, but I can order anything you see below as well as other Rumbux soft products like tail bags, tank bags and handlebar bags. The soft products cost more to import so aside from the crash bar bags, I don't generally stock them, but will order anything if you want a specific item, just let me know.

Rumbux is now offering products for the BMW R1200GS-LC, Honda Africa Twin and Husqvarna 701. Tell your friends.

Pics of the R1200GSA with Full Spec Endurance Protection bars in place. OEM lights have been moved to a combo of Touratech and Rumbux light brackets. (Not fully happy with that, but it works).

Skid plate is 6.5mm thick Aluminum. Previous Rumbux skid plates have been 4.5mm, but the Big GS/GSA gets this upgrade.

Hi JCV - They don't appear to have anything in stock for the F800GS, but I'll double check. I can certainly start building an order for after Rumbux's holiday break, but it would be Feb before those were delivered.

Ok, Keep me posted, They would like a nice Christmas present for myself, but in reality I won't be riding too much over the winter months.

Right now I don't stock much, but rather order on demand. I need a minimum of 5 people in on an order to initiate it. Once I place the order with Rumbux, it's 6-8 weeks on average before customers see the bars on their door step. I do air cargo shipments from Rumbux, but the bulk of the time is in getting scheduled for the production and them producing the bars. They typically don't carry much inventory on hand. Just like most companies, keeping less inventory on hand allows them to use money for other things, as needed, instead of tying it up as inventory that may or may not fit with customer demand. I like to keep a bit of everything on hand, but place small orders often. Winter is the slow season though and I was preparing to move multiple states away, so had trimmed my inventory down preparing for that move. Life has gotten in the way and complicated things, so I'm still doing orders, but in limbo a bit.

I just bought a 2015 F800GS. I'm looking for a set of their front crash bars/bash plate. Any chance you have one?

None in stock, but I just placed an order. I could add to that if you are ready to purchase. I'd have to add a $35 fee to cover the wire transfer since I've already paid for the order. I typically am not stocking much right now due to re-location plans.

The Full Spec Endurance protection bars, (upper crash bar, lower engine bars and integrated skid plate), is still $875 with free shipping. So with the wire transfer fee it would be $910 to your door and is expected in April.
