As above. I'd first try snugging it up with a wrench. JvB's website likely has a PDF containing the proper torque spec.
22 ft. lbs. is the factory torque spec in case you couldn't find it on JVB's site. If it was loose, just getting it snugged up should solve the problem. If not, a new crush washer and torqueing it to the proper specification should set things right.
Unfortunately, no go, still can see some oil.Any idea what is the part number?Do i need to drain the oil to replace the washer? Thanks
You will lose a few teaspoons of oil at most. Pull it off, check for damage and dirt, reinstall to 45NM.
Also make sure it’s actually coming from there? Oil was dripping off that bolt on mine, but was actually coming from the camshaft sensor.
Ok, after cleaning both left and right side looks like i have an oil seeping from both cam tensioner bolts. I did snugged em both with no luck. I will have order orings. Do you guys know if i can? Or do i have to order whole bolt ? Also, to replace the gasket, can i remove the bolt with no issues to getting the chain out of wack?
You won't have any cam timing issues caused by removing and replacing the tensioners. The dealer should be able to sell you two new washers, but if they can't, then just take the old one to an auto parts store or similar type business and have them match new ones to your old ones. This is an easy fix. Don't worry!
