Weird times. Pandemics, rioting, curfews etc.... I mean seriously who could of seen this coming. Most of my riding these days is either for local errands, or work related. Here's some pics someone snapped of me on the R100R yesterday. Busted!I was headed out just before curfew (damned lawless bikers) Nice ride even if it was just to a small vandalism oriented repair job. 不久我将60,除非致命Covid infection, social insurrection, a burnt studio, curfews or a million other things that could go wrong,.... I might keep doing this a while
Please don’t bring politics into a forum that has no association with politics. This is an airhead forum for like minded people. Cheers
60...and here I thought you were a millennial . Well I tossed the RS frame in the dumpster. It’ll be there til next Tuesday when WM comes....Ride On.
Sorry about that. With all the craziness I did not want to bother you. Send me a PM as to the location and I'll do the dumpster dive it tomorrow.
62 here................edit> 11 Broken Bones and a Punctured lung in late 2018> ALL AT THE SAME TIME!
And I thought last year sucked (BTW, it did for me), this year is off the charts. We're into hurricane season now with a tropical storm headed our way, looks like we'll be on the dry side but stay tuned. Otherwise next weeks high temps are predicted around 99º F withthe feel likes tempsabout 109º F. (It's not the heat, it's the humidity.) July and August are a long ways off. And I'm 66.
Meh, riding is probably the least risky covid wise activity you can do, especially if you keep you gloves on during fuel up. Protesters won't fuck with you. You might be too old and white to get your ass beat by the cops, but if all fails at least you can outrun the rioters in blue on foot; watch out for flashing SUVs though.
67 here, I've broken more bones riding in the last 7 years, than in all the rest of my life!(I got better...)
70 1/2 and about 9K miles short of my 700K mile BMW award but the Club hasn't had a monthly ride since November. No 49er, no MOA National, everything with a group cancelled...fires, snow, covad. Weird year.
72.5 Still riding. Sold some '77 big valve engine parts yesterday to a friend who will eventually use them. Got an '85 twin Brembo fork with a cast wheel in addition to some cash. Also sold a 2 n 2 -1 exhaust for what I paid for it a few years ago. Breaking even at my age feels good.
First Harley at 15. 71 now. I'm trying to ride all my bikes (below). Except for the Famous James which is in the garden. Since I live out away from people I'm enjoying this time. I guess I'm a hermit by nature.
