Hi, can anyone advice if I should get an GS-911. What I wanna do is mainly bleeding the abs. As there is not much fault I can reset! Also there is no service reminder. Which model of the GS-911 should I get. I might need to use it while on the road if there any problem. I also OK came across motoscan / duonix
Anyone has any review or recommendedj which is better to use when on the road touring ?

You do not need the GS-911 to bleed the brakes on that bike. It doesn`t even have a function to do bleeding on your bike.

    It sure does!!
It has many diagnostic functions for the servo ABS!
There is a bleed test for both F&R, sensor drift test, full troubleshooting for fault codes, and more
Without it I could not diagnose/fix many issues.:deal

Hi, I have visit the hex site, but not too sure if I understand it correctly. That’s why I m asking here.

Now the popular version is the wifi version, I can connect using my iOS to clear or read the fault code?

But just to confirm that my model works as I have not seen it in the list. Mine is a 2004 r1150gsa.

Can the GS-911 read the tps, also what kinda fault are we looking at the my old cow?

Yes, you can set the TPS and monitor many engine functions as well as plotting the O2 sensor.
    你可以read/reset the ABS codes
Visit the site, they have a very good explanation on what it will do for the MA 2.4 Motronic and the Servo ABS

You do not "need" the GS911 to bleed the brakes, but as@GS Addictsays, it is a good tool. Find a used yellow one here in the flea market. You should be able to pick it up for under $150.

我熟悉gs - 911能做什么,有一个myself. OP`s question was about the bleeding process. For the bleeding itself you do not need it. Indeed, it is handy for fault clearing, checking sensors, etc.

To confirm you have bled it correctly you can confirm with the GS-911 bleed test.
You would be surprised what you find with it thinking it is properly bled.
ESPECIALLY if one has just upgraded the brake lines to SS Teflon. It takes a lot of bleeding in the control circuits to get every last bit of air out.
The 911 test allows you to do that.

    Hi All ,

Thanks for the input, so now I understand,
Will the GS-911 be able to check on the tps? Coz sometime ago, I put a cover for the sensor, and it seem like the throttle is not balance. What other fault can we clear for the r1150gsa?

Yes, TPS calibration is easily done.
All other logged faults can be cleared (provided that the are remedied)

Try looking into the Motoscan app. It'll do all that the GS-911 does for less cost.

What kind of connector do you have for the GS-911? I believe if a GS-911 will work, the Motoscan app with the scanner off of Amazon will work just fine.

Hi, where to get the motoscan app? Does it come with the scanner or I can just download off the App Store?

You'll need to do a search on that term for more info. I only know that if I didn't already have a GS-911, that would be the direction I'd go.

There's lots of info on this forum and others on what to get and what it'll do.
