I am installing lowered pegs on my '17 GSA and, as a result, I will need to move my brake lever DOWN about an inch. (I have to lift my foot to brake with the stock pegs. It will only be worse with lower ones.) Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes an adjustable rear brake lever that adjusts the pedaldown? I have found a couple (Touratech and Wunderlich) that allow you to adjust the pedal in, out, and up. But none that will actually drop the position of the pedal. Thanks for your time!
Update: It looks like Wunderlich makes a lowering block kit for their adjustable lever. So far that's all I can find.
subscribed to this thread Just a FYI I took an all day Adventure riding course last year and mentioned to the instructor about having to lift my foot to brake. He looked at me as if I had 2 heads and replied "Its suppose to be that way, you'll get use to it". Followed by "They are designed to be used while standing up, when you jab the brake hard to lock up the rear". Okay I thought........ Funny thing is I did, on both my KLR 650 (sold) and my R1200GS A. I have no problem modulating brake force, it just took time to get that muscle memory.
I lowered my pegs give my knee bit of room but didn't adjust gear shifter or the brake lever. Its mater of time you will get used to it quickly.
